Ms. Sukanya Dikshit Delivers Insightful Lecture on Innovation and Tech-Transfer

From March 18-20, 2024, Sukanya Dikshit and Vishwal Padole represented DBDIC at the landmark Startup Mahakumbh 2024 event. The event drew participation from over 600 startups, investors, mentors, and corporate entities. Highlights included fireside chats, panel discussions, and sessions with notable speakers like Aman Gupta from boAt Lifestyle. Key topics covered the evolution of SAAS for early-stage startups, strategies for global expansion, fintech infrastructure, and funding strategies for DeepTech ventures. Startup Mahakumbh 2024 also launched Ecosystem Registrations, aiming to unify the startup ecosystem under a cohesive framework. This initiative fosters a more integrated community, driving future innovations and partnerships in the Indian startup landscape and beyond.

On February 13, 2024, Ms. Sukanya Dikshit, Senior Scientist and Head of Incubator at DBDIC, delivered an enlightening lecture on “Innovation, Development, Technological Readiness Level (TRL), and Commercialization of Lab Technologies and Tech-Transfer” at Gitarattan College, organized by the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC). Addressing BBA Semester IV students, Ms. Dikshit highlighted the critical stages of innovation from ideation to market realization. She emphasized strategic approaches and flexible planning, particularly the role of Prototyping Lab Technologies in advancing innovation and assessing technological readiness. This lecture provided students with a comprehensive understanding of the commercialization pathway for lab technologies, stressing the importance of prototypes in validating and refining these technologies before market launch.
